A little while back I had the pleasure of working with the crew at Seavees to create the Makeup & Hair for their 2014 fall lookbook shot in Big Sur. What a wonderful cast and crew to have had the pleasure working with! The models were beyond gorgeous and kind, while the rest of the crew were so incredibly generous and gracious. And the location.... what a gem! Three days in the trees, doesn't get any better then that! Thank you to the amazing Chris Orwig for capturing the moments! The Simpson House Inn

I don't often get the pleasure of staying at many of the hotels that we've worked at, but this years Valentines day my love treated me to one of the beautiful cottages at The Simpson House Inn in Santa Barbara. What a treat! We stayed in the Plumbstead cottage which was a quaint two story building with a private jacuzzi tub, fireplace and a fantastic breakfast that was brought to us at a predetermined time and set up for us on our porch. If that wasn't enough, they personally greeted us at our car as we parked and offered wine and hors d'oeuvres during the evening in the main building. If it couldn't get any better, they provided of my favorite products in the cottage... Kiehls! They even sent us away with a wonderful gift - some watercolor painted stationary by a local artist. Ever wonder how long your cosmetics last?

Did you know that Cosmetics and Skin Care are not required to put an expiration date on the product? Grrrr! So here is a very handy guide to how long your cosmetics can last you.Also, a good suggestion - put the date of when you purchased, or opened the cosmetic on the packaging itself... that way you can better keep track of how long you've had it!

The Very Creative Serenas

This post has been a long time coming! One of my favorite Los Angeles photographers Jen Serena of Serena Creative and I were able to collaborate and have a little fun on this shoot. I have known Jen and her husband Ric for over 4 years now and am always thrilled when we get to work together. The two of them are high school sweethearts and a dynamite duo! Not to mention they have the cutest little girl named Isola - whom I only hope to have a child so unique, creative and gorgeous as she is. Jen and Ric just opened the doors of their new studio in LA and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a Photographer, Director or Editor! Our beautiful models are Cheyenne (first 3) and Azia (last 4). Enjoy :)  

DIY Tinted Moisturizer

Did you know... If your foundation is too heavy, mix it with a moisturizer to make your own tinted moisturizer! The more moisturizer you add the sheerer it will be. Who said cosmetics have to be expensive??

A very special San Ysidro Ranch Wedding

Hello Followers! We had the pleasure of working on a wedding last December with a bride named Wei Wei at San Ysidro Ranch. Wei Wei was not only only of the sweetest brides I have worked with, but gorgeous as well! I am so excited to be able to share these photos, especially since Wei Wei just contacted us again to do her hair and makeup for her Maternity shoot in October! I am thrilled to be able to share not only one, but two life changing memorable events with Wei Wei!
